
On Saturday evening around 8pm, a motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle on a corner of the CR141 between Dickweiler and Mompach, skidding into oncoming traffic, sliding underneath a car. After he was administered first aid on the spot, an emergency helicopter transported him to a hospital. The driver and passenger of the other car were unharmed. A forensics team were sent to the location of the accident to gather evidence, and the road was temporarily closed.
In Oberkorn, a man was assaulted and just after 10pm close to the train station. The perpetrators pulled the man into a vehicle, hit him on the head with a foreign object and stole his bag. The victim was hospitalised with a head injury. The police has opened an investigation.
A woman also had her possessions stolen in Luxembourg City. While walking on Rue du Fort Dumoulin around 9.20pm, two men approached her. One of the men distracted her, while the other stole her purse from her shopping cart. The woman only became aware of what happened once one of the men ran away. She has filed a complaint with the police.
