
Late on Friday morning, the police reported that the body of a 20-year-old man had been found on the rail tracks in Differdange. The corpse was found near the cemetery in Differdange by the extension of Rue de Pasteur.
The emergency services confirmed the death of the 20-year-old Wiltz resident at the scene of the incident. The public prosecutor's office was informed. A forensics team and identity unit were dispatched as the public prosecutor's office requested an autopsy to discover the cause of death.
Preliminary reports suggest that third-party involvement can be excluded.
Earlier on Friday, CFL reported an incident at Oberkorn station, disrupting the line between Esch-sur-Alzette and Pétange.
The incident occurred before 6am on Friday morning at Oberkorn station, affecting CFL's route 60. The rail network only detailed that the cause of the disruption is an intervention involving the emergency services.
Just before 10am, the CFL announced that its service had returned to normal.
