Following the arrest of a suspected drug dealer in the Bonnevoie neighbourhood of Luxembourg City on Tuesday, police expanded their investigation to the western commune of Hobscheid, leading to two further arrests.
The operation began when a police patrol witnessed an apparent drug transaction between two individuals in Bonnevoie.
Acting on evidence gathered, the public prosecutor’s office obtained a search warrant for a property in Hobscheid. During the search, authorities seized “significant quantities of heroin and cocaine,” according to a police statement.
The presumed dealer apprehended in Bonnevoie and two other individuals present in the house were arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office. All three were brought before an examining magistrate on Wednesday morning. The drugs, along with stolen goods also discovered during the search, were confiscated.
