Speaking to reporters on Friday afternoon, PM Luc Frieden did not disclose many details on the agenda for next week's tripartite talks.
He said the discussions would focus on questions relating to the war in Iran, and social partners could submit proposals for any measures important in that context only. The talks will only pertain to the mitigation of economic and social consequences of the crisis in the Middle East, according to Frieden.
The talks will likely prioritise the consequences of the energy crisis. Purchasing power and business competivity should be maintained. These talks will not discuss Luxembourg's wage indexation mechanism, Frieden stressed several times.

The Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL) and the Luxembourg Confederation of Christian Trade Unions (LCGB) also requested a discussion on minimum wage, housing shortage, and the healthcare system, while the Union of Luxembourg Enterprises (UEL) and the General Confederation of the Civil Service (CGFP) sought to restrict the talks to energy prices and inflation.
