The two parties entered the elections with collective lists.
In a press statement on Friday, the PID declared having lent the Pirate Party € 5,000 under the condition that this money would be repaid should they achieve 2% of the vote.
Furthermore, both parties signed a contract that would also provide the PID some of the Pirate Party's party funding should they achieve their goal.
So far, however, despite numerous requests, the PID claims it has not received a single cent from the Pirate Party.
According to the Pirate Party, the PID did indeed contribute €5,000 to the EU and Chamber elections. In the reaction, the Pirate Party outlined that they had contributed around €100,000 in funding.
Both parties are now waiting for election campaign refunds, as stipulated by law.
As soon as the payment had been made, and the financial tally had taken into account election expenses, the party would receive their reimbursement.
A registered letter had incidentally never turned up in their letterbox, the Pirate Party added.
