Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie will be travelling to Paris on Wednesday, where the couple will be received by French President Emmanuel Macron as part of the courtesy visits following the accession to the throne. They will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel.
The visit to Paris is the sixth courtesy stop the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess have made since October 2025. They have previously travelled to Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the Vatican, and Spain.
