
Among other things, the new Covid-19 law will generalise the use of the CovidCheck system in hospitals.
The Chamber of Deputies will vote on the new law on Thursday, 16 September – the day on which the current measures are set to end.
The Consultative Human Rights Commission (CCDH) expressed its concern regarding the government’s decision to no longer offer free PCR tests in the context of the large-scale testing.
The CCDH fears that this will lead to people not visiting a hospital even though they should. For this reason, the CCDH argues that the government must continue to offer free tests.
