
‘Maria, symbol of hope and consolation’ is the leitmotif of the 2023 Octave and will be at the centre of the sermon of speaker Renée Schmit.
On the first Octave Sunday, mass will be broadcasted from the Herrenberg military HQ. Both remaining masses will be broadcasted from the Luxembourg City Cathedral and can be followed live on cathol.lu.

The traditional Octave market on Place the la Constitution in the capital will be open daily from 11am to 10pm until 14 May. The 45 stands will once again offer a variety of children’s games and Luxembourgish specialities, including battered fish, potato cakes (‘Gromperekichelcher'), and waffles.
