Luxembourg - special operationNo weapons found in Dudelange police operation

The operation was launched in response to an alleged breach of weapon laws.

The operation began at 8am and was over by 2pm, as Special Investigation officers inspected a bistro near Place Gymnich on Rue Mont Saint-Jean, accompanied by a special Grand Ducal police unit. Another building was also searched as part of the operation.

The action was ordered by an investigating judge, on the basis of the 1983 arms and ammunition law.

No weapons were discovered in the search, and no arrests were made.
