Rail traffic has therefore been halted between Ettelbruck-Kautenbach and Kautenbach-Wiltz. A company is on site to analyse the risk and proceed with stabilisation works, CFL writes. It is unclear how long the interruption will last.
Replacement buses have been put in place on both routes. In addition, the municipality of Ettelbruck will make 350 parking spaces available to travellers, for free, at the Däich car park from 15 March onwards.
A press conference will take place on Thursday, expecting to cover the problems in more detail.
