Emergency services reported no major incidents at this year's ING Night Marathon, despite a record 18,000 participants and large crowds along the route.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) has drawn a positive conclusion following the ING Night Marathon in Luxembourg City, where a record 18,000 participants took part and large crowds lined the route despite the cool and at times wet weather.

In total, 114 people required assistance, including both runners and spectators. 15 people had to be taken to hospital, while firefighters were called out twice. The exact reasons for those interventions were not specified in the press release.
