Nine new petitions are now open for signatures on the Chamber of Deputies website.

The first petition advocates punishing those who share false information online, whereas the next urges the government to declare a state of emergency for climate change.

The third petition focuses on cross-border worker rights, calling for a separate Chamber of Deputies for the cross-border working community. The next petitioner is advocating a mandatory reduction of short-haul flights (under 1,000km) as of 2025.

The petitions have six weeks to garner a minimum of 4,500 signatures, before they can be discussed in parliament. All petitions are available online at www.chd.lu.
