The early warning threshold is set at 6.20 metres at Stadtbredimus. The water level should drop below this limit during the afternoon.
This morning, the level of the Moselle reached 5.47 metres in Remich and 6.42 metres in Grevenmacher.
On the French side of the border, the level of the river has also fallen, as observed at the Thionville measurement station. Again, the situation should improve during the day.
