Meteolux has issued a yellow heat warning for the entire country from 12pm on Thursday until 11.59pm on Friday, warning of moderate heat stress as temperatures continue to climb. According to the national weather service, prolonged exposure to the heat or intense physical activity could lead to fatigue and heat exhaustion.

On Friday, the entire country will be under an orange level alert as perceived temperatures remain elevated for a second consecutive day.

Forecasts show temperatures reaching between 31 and 33°C on Thursday, before climbing to 33–35°C on Friday. Under its new heat warning system, Meteolux now takes into account factors such as humidity and wind to better reflect the heat felt by the human body and the associated health risks.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid strenuous activity during the hottest hours of the day, and seek shade whenever possible.
