The two men were fighting on Rue François Hogenberg in Gasperich. One of the men used a baton to attack the other man, injuring him with the weapon. The man hit with the baton had to be taken to hospital later in order for his injuries to be treated.
The suspected perpetrator had blonde hair, of average stature, and was approximately 25 years old. He fled in a blue Renault Clio with French number plates.
