The 550 m² boutique, which opened in December 2019 in the Cloche d’Or shopping centre in Luxembourg-Gasperich, was the brand’s first store in the Grand Duchy. Known for its spacious salons and curated selection of prestigious brands, the outlet will cease operations as the company consolidates its presence in the capital.
From July onwards, Les Ambassadeurs Luxembourg will focus on its three existing boutiques in Luxembourg City, including a 420 m² multi-brand store in the iconic À la Bourse building on Grand-Rue. According to a press release dated 6 June, growing customer interest in the city centre locations – particularly the Grand-Rue address – has drawn former Cloche d’Or clients away.
The move reflects a strategic decision to respond to client behaviour and concentrate entirely on central Luxembourg, where business continues to thrive. In contrast, Les Ambassadeurs Suisse, a separate entity with different shareholders, is facing financial difficulties, with closures reported in Zurich, Lucerne and Geneva.
