The LTA school administration explained in an open letter that it is much more difficult to merge the technical and vocational education classes than it is to reunite regular classes at other primary and secondary schools.
The school committee also cited the problem of school transport. The school currently relies on minibuses to guarantee physical distance between the pupils. This option is no longer possible once the smaller groups are reunited, the committee explained. The signatories of the open letter demand that the trade unions support their request.
Alternate classes in primary and secondary school across Luxembourg will merge on Monday.
