The Luxembourg police responded to more than 60 noise complaints on Friday night. In most cases, officers were able to resolve the issue upon arrival. However, some situations required stricter intervention.

One such incident occurred at around 2am on Saturday morning, when a police patrol encountered an intoxicated individual on Rue des Capucins in Luxembourg City. The person was harassing passers-by and struggling to maintain balance. Despite attempts to de-escalate the situation, the individual remained disruptive and was deemed a risk to themselves and others. Following a medical evaluation, they were taken into custody for disturbing the peace.

Shortly afterward, at approximately 3.30am, police intervened in another altercation at the entrance of the central railway station, where two highly agitated individuals had engaged in a physical confrontation. Officers were unable to calm them down, and as both were visibly intoxicated and deemed a danger, they were also detained overnight after a medical assessment.
