Recruitment platform Moovijob has compiled a list of the 20 most sought-after employers in Luxembourg for 2025, showcasing both national and international heavyweights as well as essential institutions. Leading the ranking once again is Luxembourg’s flagship airline Luxair, which tops the list for a third consecutive year. Already employing over 1,800 people, Luxair clearly remained a prestigious employer in the job market in 2025.
In second place is retail giant Auchan, which ascended the rankings after securing a podium position in 2024. Close behind is the largest Luxembourgish recruiter, CFL, the national railway company with over 5,000 employees, which is competing closely with the French retail giant.
The remainder of the list includes major Luxembourg companies such as the Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), ranking fifth and now owned by a Chinese holding company, POST in sixth place, and Servior in eighth. Prominent institutions also appear, with the Luxembourg Red Cross in fourth and the University of Luxembourg in seventh.
International companies well established in the Grand Duchy are also highly ranked, including Sodexo Luxembourg, a subsidiary of the French collective catering giant, in 13th place, BNP Paribas in 15th, and Deloitte, a member of the Big Four employing over 2,500 people in Luxembourg, in 20th.
According to Moovijob, job seekers are increasingly targeting specific companies rather than general job offers, allowing the platform to compile this list of most-followed employers.
