In a press release published on 12 October, Luxair director Gilles Feith wrote: “the E195-E2 has both the lowest noise level and fuel consumption on the regional aircraft market and will bring necessary flexibility to our network.”
Feith continued: “Our passengers will benefit from spacious and quiet cabins, equipped with large hand luggage compartments. The E195-E2 is the perfect fit for Luxair and our passengers.”
Earlier this year, Luxair confirmed it had ordered four new Boeing 737-7s, and welcomed a new Boeing 737-8 with a water salute at Findel airport over the summer.
