Too much pollution, too many partiesIncreased monitoring of Luxembourg's wildlife sanctuaries

RTL Today
The national wildlife administration has announced that it will launch day and night patrols in cooperation with the police.

Recent weeks have shown increased activities around the country's natural hotspots, with more acts of environmental pollution and therefore a need for more regulation, according to the wildlife administration.

Unregistered parties have brought along a significant increase in waste being carelessly dumped instead of properly disposed of. Barbecues outside of marked areas have further lead to biotopes being destroyed.

Unfortunately, a recent awareness campaign on social media had not resonated as well as intended, forcing the administration to involve the police force in the matter.
