The Green Party's national congress was scheduled to take place on Saturday. On Friday, the decision was taken to reschedule the digital conference.

The reason for the cancellation is thought to be potential Covid-19 infections among the organisers of the congress.

The executive committee made the decision to reschedule the conference for a later date. The new co-president of the party was due to have been elected on Saturday.  Christian Kmiotek's successor was expected to be Meris Sehovic, alongside Djuna Bernard.
