Following an invitation by the Austrian Federal President, Heads of State of German-speaking countries are meeting in Linz for their 15th informal get-together.
The guests include Grand Duke Henri, German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, as well as the King of Belgium, and Heads of State from Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
The dominating topic of the talks is democracy in a world that is becoming increasingly digital, as well as national and international affairs.
Since 2004, these Heads of State from German-speaking countries have been meeting regularly for talks.
Every year, a different country take the lead and organises the event. The last get-together in the Grand-Duchy dates back to 2017.
