The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to four separate traffic accidents across Luxembourg on Saturday, three involving motorcyclists and one a cyclist, with all four individuals sustaining injuries and receiving medical attention.

The first accident occurred at 1pm on the RN23 in Rombach-Martelange, where a motorcyclist fell and was treated by emergency services from Rambrouch.

Around 20 minutes later, a cyclist fell in Bauschelt and was so seriously injured that he had to be transported to hospital by air ambulance. Paramedics from Wiltz and firefighters from both Wiltz and Boulaide were on the scene.

At approximately 2.20pm, another motorcyclist fell on the CR327 between Mecher and Weicherdange. The injured rider was assisted by emergency crews from Clervaux and the Nordstad centre.

A final incident was reported on the CR307 between Heispelt and Neunhausen, where another motorcyclist was injured following a fall. Rescue teams from Grevels and Redange responded.
