The residents were surprised by the suspects in their own home in Strassen. The burglars demanded that the inhabitants hand over money and jewelry. The suspects, who spoke French with an unidentified accent, threatened the residents at knife point while the latter handed over the valuables.
The burglars then took off in a silvery-grey Audi A6 Avant. Police specified that the car was an older combi model. The suspects reportedly fled towards Strassen/Reckenthal and likely headed towards the Arlon motorway.
