On 13 November, Stacey Feinberg presented her diplomatic credentials to Grand Duke Guillaume, becoming the 25th Ambassador of the United States of America to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Appointed by President Donald Trump in December 2024, Stacey Feinberg has now met with Grand Duke Guillaume to formally present her diplomatic credentials. She becomes the 25th Ambassador of the United States of America to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, further cementing the long-standing relationship between the two nations.

The credential presentation took place at the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg City, a formal step marking the start of the ambassador's official duties. In a press release from the US embassy Ambassador Feinberg stated: "I am honored to build on the strong foundation of our shared history and excited by the opportunities ahead."

The meeting coincides with Prime Minister Frieden's visit to the United States, where he is engaging with leading technology companies to discuss cooperation in artificial intelligence, data processing, and innovation. Ambassador Feinberg echoed these priorities in her statement, saying: "I see tremendous potential to broaden our cooperation, particularly across business ventures, defence modernisation, space innovation, advanced technologies, and the financial sector – areas where our partnership offers unique opportunities for meaningful impact."

Ambassador Feinberg, who has lectured at Harvard Law School, brings a background in business and investment to the post, rather than a traditional diplomatic career. The entrepreneur and founder of 33 Capital LLC has worked in venture funding, with a particular focus on supporting women-led enterprises.
