The newly appointed US Ambassador to Luxembourg, Stacey Woolf Feinberg, has officially arrived in the Grand Duchy, marking the start of her tenure as Washington's top diplomat in the country.

Feinberg's arrival follows her confirmation by the United States Senate earlier this month, concluding a months-long process that began with her nomination by former President Donald Trump in December 2024. She succeeds Chargé d'Affaires Anthony Baird, who has led the US Embassy since July.

At 61, Feinberg brings a background in business and investment to the post, rather than a traditional diplomatic career. The entrepreneur and founder of 33 Capital LLC has worked in venture funding, with a particular focus on supporting women-led enterprises.

Originally from California, she attended Harvard Business School and received a Bachelor's of Science from Northwestern University, since then she has also lectured at Harvard Law School.
