During a roadside check on Thursday morning, on Rue de Bastogne in Ettelbruck, officers stopped two vehicles that were visibly overloaded.

The checks revealed that neither driver held a valid driving licence. Additionally, each vehicle contained approximately 125 crates of alcohol, for a total of around 250 crates.

Initial investigations showed that both drivers were heading to Belgium. The Customs and Excise Agency was informed about the illegal transport of alcohol and seized the goods.

On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, a report was drawn up for driving without a valid licence.
