Authorities in Luxembourg have issued a public appeal to find the owner of a luxury bag, seized following the arrest of two individuals suspected of a failed burglary in Schieren.

Luxembourg police are attempting to locate the owner of a stolen Louis Vuitton bag following the arrest of two individuals in connection with a break-in in Schieren.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at a single-family home on the street "Ënner den Thermen." According to police, perpetrators attempted to enter the residence by smashing a window but were interrupted by the occupants. Several police patrols were despatched to the scene and apprehended the suspects.

The individuals were arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office and appeared before an examining magistrate on Wednesday morning.

Further investigation suggests the same suspects are connected to two additional burglaries in the Ingeldorf/Erpeldange and Ettelbruck areas. During the inquiry, police seized a black Louis Vuitton laptop bag believed to be stolen property, the owner of which has not yet been identified.

Authorities are asking the owner of the bag, or anyone with information about the related burglaries, to contact the Ettelbruck police station at (+352) 244 84 1000 or by email at police.ettelbruck@police.etat.lu.
