The A3 towards France was closed after a crash between the Croix de Gasperich and the Aire de Berchem left two cars on fire.
Around 3pm on Monday afternoon, a two-car accident occurred on the A3 towards France.
Both vehicles caught fire, and firefighters were called to the scene. The A3 was completely closed in the direction of France between the Croix de Gasperich and the Aire de Berchem.
By around 3.30pm, the fire had been extinguished. The stretch of motorway remains closed to traffic.
