Four people were injured in a series of three road collisions across Luxembourg on Wednesday morning, according to the emergency services.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to three separate traffic accidents on Wednesday morning, resulting in a total of four injuries.

The first incident occurred shortly before 5am on Rue des Remparts in Echternach, where a collision between two cars left one person injured. Paramedics and firefighters from Echternach were dispatched to the scene.

Later, at around 6.50am, a second two-car collision on the A6 motorway between Capellen and Bridel resulted in injuries to two people. Emergency services, including the Kehlen fire brigade and paramedics from Steinfort, attended the incident.

A third accident was reported at around 7.20am on Rue Klensch in Bettembourg. Following another two-car collision, one person was injured and was assisted by Bettembourg firefighters and paramedics from Dudelange.
