Since Saturday evening, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) has recorded four accidents with five people injured, as well as a vehicle fire.

At 10.29pm on Rue du Fossé in Esch, a car and an electric scooter collided, leaving one person injured. Another injury was reported in Esch at 11.15pm on Rue de Belval, involving a damaged car. Rescue teams from Esch and Schifflange responded to both incidents.

Shortly after 11pm, two cars collided in Aspelt, leaving one person injured. Later, in the early hours of Sunday, two more people were hurt in Pfaffenthal in an accident involving a single car. The circumstances of that incident are still being clarified, and Luxembourg City's emergency services were at the scene.

At 3.47am, the Redange fire brigade was called to Rue d'Ell, where a car had caught fire. No injuries were reported here.

Earlier on Saturday evening, a fatal accident was recorded in northern Luxembourg, where a motorcyclist lost his life after slipping off the road and crashing into a tree.
