Sunday was a great opportunity to enjoy the twilight of our summer weather, as a fairly intense spell of rain is getting ready to fall on the Grand Duchy.

Monday will begin cloudy with some sunny intervals, but the risk of showers will increase steadily in the afternoon. However, with maximum temperatures around 20 degrees, it will not feel too cold yet.

During the night from Monday to Tuesday, however, the situation will change radically with the passage of a heavy front, bringing intense rainfall over Luxembourg and the surrounding region.

According to Meteolux, between 15 and 20 l/m² could fall. The rain is expected to last until midday Tuesday, at least.

The rest of the week shouldn't be as bad, with a mix of clouds, occasional sunshine, and isolated showers. Temperatures are not expected to rise above 20 degrees in the coming days.
