The Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported three separate car crashes into trees on Friday evening.
The first incident occurred on Rue de la Gaichel in Gaichel shortly before 6pm on Friday. One person was injured and treated by local emergency services.
Around two hours later, another car crashed into a tree on the CR178 between Roedgen and Schwéiwenhaff. One person was injured, with an ambulance and fire engine dispatched to the scene.
The third accident took place at around 11pm in Bertrange, at a spot known as 'Grevelsbarrière'. No injuries were reported.
The exact circumstances of the crashes remain unclear. Authorities have not ruled out factors such as alcohol or drugs, with further details expected later in the day.
In a separate incident, a motorcycle caught fire on the Route du Vin in Schwebsange at around 2am on Saturday. No one was injured, and firefighters from Schengen and Remich quickly brought the blaze under control.
