Two people were injured in separate traffic accidents in northern Luxembourg and Pétange on Thursday evening, according to the CGDIS.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to two separate road accidents on Thursday evening, each resulting in one injury.

The first incident occurred shortly after 10.30pm on the road between Lentzweiler and Clervaux in northern Luxembourg. A single vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree under circumstances that remain under investigation. Emergency crews from Wincrange and Troisvierges attended the scene to treat one injured individual.

A second collision took place at around 11pm on Route de Luxembourg in Pétange. The accident involved two vehicles and resulted in one person being injured. CGDIS despatched an ambulance and a fire engine to the site.
