A Luxair flight from Luxembourg to Hurghada was forced to turn back on Tuesday as a precautionary measure, the airline confirmed. The exact reason for the decision was not disclosed, but Luxair stated that flight LG921 landed safely back at Luxembourg Airport.

Online flight trackers show the plane turned around while flying over Greece.

Passengers were informed by the crew and were never in any danger, according to the airline. Once back at Findel Airport, Luxair staff assisted the travellers.
