Temperatures keep going up during this heatwave, and it will get a bit worse before it starts getting better later in the week.

I'm sure you know already but I'll reiterate the warnings from the orange alert: take extra care if you're outside – try to keep hydrated and avoid sun exposure, and make sure your young ones and the elderly are as comfortable as possible.

It will be a clear and sunny day, so there won't much in the form of clouds to give us a bit of a break.

As expected from an orange alert, temperatures will be quite high: they start around 22–24°C, which honestly sounds pretty much perfect to me! The problem is that the heat will keep piling on until it reaches around 35°C in the afternoon, which is not pleasant.

Wednesday is expected to be even worse, with some schools even cancelling classes, so beware. Luckily, things seem to calm down a bit from Thursday onwards, so we just have to get through a couple more days of draining heat, for now.

Stay safe out there!

Enjoy as much of this hot Tuesday as you can.
