On Sunday afternoon, a glider was forced to make a crash landing in Useldange, according to a police bulletin.

Preliminary findings suggest that shortly after 4pm, for reasons not yet established, the pilot lost control of the aircraft and had to carry out an emergency landing near the Useldange airstrip.

Both the pilot and passenger were able to free themselves from the glider without assistance and were taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
