A fatal collision between a van and a lorry on the A6 motorway near Bridel has left one person dead and caused major traffic disruption.
The accident occurred at around 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon near the Bridel exit, heading in the direction of Belgium. According to official sources, the A6 is currently closed at that section, and a diversion has been set up.
Emergency responders, including Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), police, and the National Roads Authority, are at the scene.
The circumstances leading to the crash remain unclear, and an investigation is under way. Authorities warned of significant delays in the area throughout the afternoon.
