The local chapter of the Christian Social People’s Party (CSV) has proposed Diane Adehm, runner-up in Hesperange’s last municipal elections, to succeed Marc Lies as mayor following his resignation.
The party described Adehm as an “experienced and respected” local politician qualified for the role.
In related appointments, Jean Theis was nominated for the municipal executive board (“Schäfferot”), while Mi Hee Lentz-Pak will fill Lies’ vacated seat on the municipal council.
The nominations require formal approval by the municipal council.
