The Centre Commun de la Sécurité Sociale warns on its website about a phishing campaign currently misusing its name.

The CCSS (Centre Commun de la Sécurité Sociale) has issued a warning about fraudulent emails currently in circulation. These emails are sent from the address information@ccss.lu and claim that recipients need a new social security card, directing them to follow payment instructions.

The CCSS reminds the public that social security cards are free of charge and that they would never request private bank details.

Suspicious emails or text messages should be ignored and reported.

For more information, including examples of fake messages and guidance on requesting a new card, visit the CCSS website.
