At around 8pm in Bertrange, a police patrol noticed a vehicle that had driven over a traffic island. The car was stopped shortly afterwards on the N34. A drug test carried out on the driver returned a positive result and a report was filed.

A little later, at around 9.30pm, a driver near Luxembourg City’s Gare district was observed driving dangerously. After several requests to stop, the driver was eventually brought to a halt on Rue Joseph Junck. A breathalyser test was positive and a provisional driving ban was issued on the spot.

In the early hours of the morning, Luxembourg City police were also called to a reported assault in Rue d’Epernay. According to initial information, a man had been attacked by two individuals who stole his mobile phone. An investigation has been launched.
