Luxembourg has requested the second instalment of its allocated EU recovery funding, worth €58 million, to support healthcare, affordable housing, and electric mobility as part of its updated Recovery and Resilience Plan.

As part of the European Recovery and Resilience Programme, launched in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Luxembourg has formally submitted a request to the EU Commission to access the second part of its allocated funding, worth €58 million. If granted, the amount will be used for various investments, including in the areas of healthcare, affordable housing, and electric mobility.

The new request is currently under review in Brussels. In total, the European plan has earmarked €241 million for the Grand Duchy.

Luxembourg's recovery and resilience plan was initially devised in 2021, with updates made in January 2023 and in September 2024.
