KFC will continue its expansion in Luxembourg with a new restaurant opening in Capellen on 4 November 2025 at 11am, the brand’s first drive-through in the country.
The launch comes a year after KFC’s debut at Belval Plaza and is part of a plan to open ten outlets across the Grand Duchy by 2030.
Located in the Capellen business park, the 480 m² restaurant will offer 142 seats, table service, self-order kiosks, a drive-through and a dedicated delivery area. A children’s play zone is also planned.
KFC and franchise partner Firce Capital said the site was selected for its direct access to the A6 motorway and the Route d'Arlon, in a growing area with few fast-food options.
The restaurant will be managed by Mathilda Mercier, supported by Pasquale Torcasso, director of operations in Luxembourg.
The opening has created 40 jobs, and KFC says nearly 80 percent of management roles are now filled internally.
KFC also highlights its focus on quality and sustainability. All chicken specialities in Capellen will follow Colonel Sanders’ original recipe and will be prepared with products sourced mainly from French suppliers, as in its restaurants in France.
KFC has operated in Luxembourg since October 2024 and now counts more than 398 restaurants across France and Luxembourg.
