From Friday 9pm until Monday 5am, the A3 is no longer accessible via the A1 or Gasperich and a detour route has been put in place.

Due to the closure, a detour route has been established:

  • Follow the A6 towards Arlon until you reach the Croix de Cessange.
  • Continue onto the A4 towards Esch until the Esch junction, then switch to the A13 heading towards Schengen.
  • Once you reach the Croix de Bettembourg, you can access the A3 again.

Construction on the croix de Gasperich (18-21.10.2024)

As part of the expansion of the A3 highway, the National Roads Association will proceed to renew the surface layer of the Croix de Gasperich starting on Friday, 18 October around 9pm until Monday, 21 October, around 5am.

Closed roads and detours

The following closures will be put into place:

  • The slip road leading from A1 in direction of Gasperich to the A3 towards Metz
  • The A3 between the Hesperange and Croix de Gasperich exchanger 

Traffic coming from the A1 or A3 towards Bettembourg will be diverted starting at the Croix de Gasperich. The route is as follows:

  • Take the A6 towards Cessange,
  • Continue to the Croix de Cessange,
  • Then onto the A4 towards Esch-sur-Alzette,
  • Proceed to the Esch junction,
  • Switch to the A13 towards Schengen,
  • Finally, access the Croix de Bettembourg.
