On Thursday night, some residents in Luxembourg reported sightings of the aurora borealis, despite less-than-ideal weather conditions.
Some residents of Luxembourg may have had the opportunity to witness the stunning spectacle of the aurora borealis on Thursday night.

However, the weather conditions were less than ideal. During the peak of the phenomenon, light drizzle and cloud cover partially obscured the view. The photographs were taken between 2.30am and 3am.
