
Two separate road traffic accidents left two people injured in Luxembourg on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).
The first collision occurred around midday on Rue de France in Belvaux, involving two cars and resulting in one person injured. Firefighters and paramedics from the Sanem-Differdange corps responded to the scene.
Shortly thereafter, fire brigades from Mersch and Lintgen were called to Rue de la Montagne in Prettingen following reports of heavy smoke.
Later, at approximately 2.20pm, emergency services were despatched to another road traffic accident between Ellange-Gare and Remich. One person was injured in that collision, with rescue teams from Remich deployed to the scene.
