Police were called out to investigate the use of a suspected firearm in an unusual incident on Friday evening.

At around 7.30pm, Luxembourg City police were notified of a motorcyclist who was alleged to have targeted another vehicle with a firearm.

Upon investigating the incident, police located the motorcyclist in question and discovered he had used a water pistol to shoot at a car on the Route d'Arlon.

The public prosecutor's office ordered the confiscation of the water pistol and the motorcyclist received a warning.
