The Pirate Party has criticised the government's decision to extend the Climate Housing Bonus only until 30 June, arguing that an extension until 30 September would have provided greater planning security for residents.

Labelling the decision as "pure opportunism," the Pirate Party pointed out that their proposal to extend the bonuses until September was rejected by the government. This decision comes despite assurances from the Prime Minister and the Ministry of the Environment that a project would be pushed through parliament over the summer to extend the measure until September.

In a statement, the opposition party condemned the move, describing it as disrespectful to the work and motivations of opposition parties and not in the interest of the people of Luxembourg. They further accused the government of engaging in opportunism at the expense of the population and criticised the lack of swift and efficient action to benefit the public.
