The Roads and Bridges Administration will renew the road surface between 9.30pm on Friday 9 October and around 4am on Monday 12 October. Traffic in both directions will share a single carriageway, with the speed limit cut to 70km/h.
Diversions will be signposted:
From France on the A3, heading for the A6 towards Belgium: take the Gluck roundabout, the N4A and N4 to the Leudelange-Nord interchange, then the A4 towards Luxembourg City, rejoining the A6 at Cessange.
From Hesperange to the A3 towards Metz: use the CR231 (Boulevard Raiffeisen), the N4A (Boulevard de Kockelscheuer) and the Gluck roundabout.
From Gasperich on the A6, heading for the A4: continue to the Helfenterbruck interchange, make a U-turn and return to Cessange to join the A4.
The administration said preparatory work to change the traffic layout will start several hours before the main works. Motorists should expect delays from late Friday afternoon, especially around the Gasperich interchange.
